Excellent Performance
Our Company bought two Fluke 1738 and we are continuously using for our commissioning, load balancing, troubleshooting and cutover works. snapshots are good to include in our closeout reports. Since then my works and reporting process are quite easy!

Good tool easy to make study reports
I bought a Fluke 1738 it has WiFi interface however if you work where there is a highly secure network it can be very spotty. I can use a VNC to look at the readings but only for the first 3 days then it drops connection. When I bought it I was under the impression it worked like the Fluke connect which I have on another meter but that one is bluetooth not over wifi and is web based but this one uses Fluke energy analyzer software which is easy to make reports on for all the parameters i.e. amp, voltage and even harmonics but you can not look at real time readings. The tool works as it should as far as readings and is easy to hook up for load studies or power studies and it does have the ability to use power from the panel you are studying so you do not have to plug it into a receptacle. The cost is a little steep but if you are always adding circuits like I am it does pay for it's self. I hope they can come up with a better wifi connection and integrate it in with the Fluke energy analyzer plus software.
